Lisandrath- Zal’anthia School of Instruction:
Educational years:
1st year - Novice Rank: Basic introduction to all fields of study.
2nd year - Intermediate Rank: Specialized Testing followed by a more specific concentration in areas of strength for the student.
3rd and 4th years - Apprentice Rank: Extreme concentration in particular fields with advanced instruction on political and diplomatic structures of Lisandrath including an in-depth interracial culture awareness class. This is a grueling time for most students, and the dropout rate increases by 50% for students during the last year of Apprentice Rank.
5th – 9th years-Instructor Rank: During this time, the student will evolve into the Instructor rank, which allows them to teach classes of their specialty field at the School.
Beyond the 10th year - Master Rank: In Lisandrath there can only be 20 Master Ranked individuals, two for each race, one-Female one-Male. To achieve this rank; they must go through an oracle guided trial process which is highly prized secret among the Masters. The leader of the Zal’anthia School of Instruction is always the most powerful of the Masters, and is usually selected by vote of the entire council. However, it has been know to happen by force of violence but it is frowned upon by most Masters instead they prefer a highly political game.
The School:
There are four main buildings, plus two dormitories and a stable. The four main buildings are divided among:
1st- Great Hall: where meetings of all students occur, including meals and doubles as a study hall during off hours,
2nd The Library: The collected tomes of Lisandrath’s history and all evident knowledge of the magic’s of the land,
3rd The Zal’arth Building: It is subdivided into three levels according to the subject taught in the classrooms, two floors and one dungeon style area,
4th The Matin’itha Building: This building is enchanted with privacy wards and subdivided into five levels, the top level is held for visiting Masters and the Head Master, the next two levels are held for Instructors, the fourth level is held for visiting Officials & Important Guests, the last is an enchanted layer filled with water springs, meditation spots, and is changeable at an Instructor’s will.
